It got time for my first self-pixelated motif and as Niantic had currently released Pokémon GO, I thought it was a nice idea creating a Pokémon Character, as most of my colleagues were hunting them at that time. To be honest, I have no clue about this franchise at all, but I had the color Blue in several shades and in combination with White and Black, I was finally able to create some shadows in my artworks.

It still was a well-kept secret in the office, who was doing the Paper Pixel Arts and I wanted it to keep it like that (just for keeping my colleagues guessing, who it was). So it was quite a challenge, when I decided to do a very first big motif nearly 5 times larger than everything pixel-related seen before in the office.

This needed some planning, as I still didn’t want to get caught by my colleagues and needed to be fast. That’s why I came up with the idea to put all the sticky notes on DIN A4 sheets and transfer it from there to the wall, which turned out, was a stupid idea, because it caused double work.

But in the end, the outcome was great… not to say „big“:
